Designer SIJUN graduated from the prestigious Parsons School of Design majored in Fashion Design. She created her own brand BC.J. in 2016. She was selected by Parsons as one of the top ten designers in the 2016 graduating class. Her collection was featured in ‘BULLETT MAGZINE’, ‘WWD’ and ‘COOL BEANS NYC’ magazines. SIJUN’s collection was chosen to the window display in THE SAKS FIFTH AVE on 55th street in New York. She was also the 1st winner of JOE’S BLACK BOOK Menswear in 2015. CFDA Womenswear in 2012. With a Fine Arts background, SIJUN uses the medium of fashion to create womenswear exuding a sense of emotion and personality that is alluring with a hint of mischievousness and mystery.

WHAT IS YOUR INSPIRATION FOR THIS SEASON’S COLLECTION?
The Autumn / Winter 2018 collection is inspired by the paintings of the Expressionist artist Egon Schiele. The intensity of his work, the twisted body shapes and the expressive lines combined with fearless collar palettes and embroidery are the main focus of this collection. The use of silk and fur provides a feminine touch. The geometric print and heavyweight wool felt fabric bring together texture and dimension.
