“I am very excited to show our line at Nolcha Fashion Week. It a great opportunity to showcase my designs to a wider audience. It is sure to increase the buzz about our line.”

Background
I am originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I came to New York in 2001 to study, and was immediately taken by the city. After deciding that international affairs was not the career for me, I stumbled onto accessories. I started by selling the designs of some designers from my native Argentina. This early exposure fueled my creative juices, and I soon decided to design and sell my own pieces. I went back to the drawing board, literally. I enrolled in jewelry design classes, and I was off and running. The MoMA in San Francisco saw the collection and started carrying it in their museum store. Things started to take off from there. Now we are looking to the future, growing our collections and brand.

Vision
I want to design for dynamic women with active lives that share a love for beauty and simplicity. I want our pieces to be timeless and not tied to any trends.

Signature style
Clean modern design with an edge. Our pieces are elegant with a twist.

Influence
My biggest influence is the city itself. The vibrancy and style of New York is always inspiring new ideas.

Brand philosophy
Our philosophy is to give women elegant and timeless looks that fit with their various moods.

Making it happen
It’s been quite a road. I started making the pieces in my apartment and selling on the street in SOHO. A lot of hard work led to various designer/pop-up markets, and then to being carried by boutiques across the country and abroad. We are constantly growing and pushing to new heights. It’s a lot of work, but something we love to do.

Celebrity crush
Javier Bardem (OMG!! Apologies to my lovely husband)

What does New York City mean to you?
New York is like no other place in the world. With its eclecticism and energy, it is THE place to live and work. The whole world is represented here. My work wouldn’t be possible without New York. The art, the fashion, the people, all help drive my creativity.
