Maltese fashion brand Charles & Ron showcased their Spring/Summer 2016 collection at the Nolcha Shows at Pier 59 during New York Fashion Week.
This season the Malta Tourism Authority, the tourism industry’s regulator and motivator, joined forces with Charles & Ron to support their work in the American market.
Charles & Ron are in love, in love with the Mediterranean and in love with their Maltese heritage. Their Spring/Summer 2016 collection is a vibrant and colorful collection of graphic prints inspired by the traditional Maltese fishing boat called “ Luzzu “. Sky blue and Buttercup Yellow in color block patterns and stripes, silk satin and viscose crepe dresses in super feminine cuts paired with Charles & Ron hand crafted leather bags brought a Maltese flair to the Nolcha Shows runway.

Also seen on the Charles & Ron runway is a mysterious “Evil Eye” thought to fight of the bad spirits when the ‘Luzzu” is at sea and will also watch over the Charles & Ron woman for Spring/Summer 2016.
