Nolcha Fashion Week: New York announces J.R. Ewing Bourbon as an official sponsor for this upcoming Fall/Winter 2015 season which will run February 11th – 15th at Pier 59 Studios.
Continuing in their seventh consecutive year, and held during New York Fashion week, Nolcha is one of the city’s leading platforms for global independent fashion designers. This season Katty Xiomara returns with a runway showcase of her RE-evolution collection. Additional shows include the “Ones To Watch” collective featuring emerging brands Charles & Ron, Yvette Hass, Haute Athletics, and Mitsouly, and an evening show which features established international brands such as Prieston, Ann Himsel and Danny Nguyen Couture.
Distilled in the heart of Kentucky’s bourbon country, the 4-year-old, 80-proof light amber-colored bourbon is distributed in 35 states with plans for full national distribution by September 2015.
J.R. Ewing Bourbon is well-balanced and possesses a maturity that adds to its complexity. The nose is classic and slightly fruity, with notes of vanilla, oak sweetness and a touch of orange. The taste profile is surprisingly mild, yet crisp, and exhibits a lightly spicy/honey taste that lingers on the palate.

Packaging for the new bourbon features a wooden stopper and screen-printed image of the legendary Southfork Ranch — home of the Ewings — which can be seen through the front of the elegant, iconic bottle.
