On September 13th, the Nolcha Shows during New York Fashion Week will present the launch of the Global Citizen Festival 2015 line, which will include limited edition tees, hoodies, hats, tanks, sweats and accessories.
Global Citizen is a movement to end poverty, which empowers everyday people to take action and see real impact. The line will be available online in the Global Citizen Store and at the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park on September 26th, which features headliners: Pearl Jam , Beyoncé,, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay and many more. The show will also premier a limited edition Global Citizen Festival x Aviator Nation line and several new accessories partnerships, all also available as of September 26, 2015. The sale of all items benefits The Global Poverty Project, a nonprofit that is building a worldwide movement to end extreme poverty by 2030.
Global Citizen is a community of people who want to learn about and take action on the world’s biggest challenges—and use their power to get other people involved too. Now Global Citizen’s can show their support by wearing merchandise that represents their commitment to helping end global extreme poverty. By purchasing conscious commerce goods, Global Citizens can vote with their dollar, and wear their support.
“Supporting non-profits and global causes has always been at the core of Nolcha’s mission each season,” says CEO of Nolcha, Kerry Bannigan, “Nolcha is a destination that gives global independent brands a voice during NYFW, and we’re thrilled to be introducing the world to Global Citizen’s latest collection just in time for the annual festival in New York City.”
The runway show will take place during Nolcha’s “Ones To Watch” show at 6:00pm on September 13th at Pier 59 Studios (West 18th Street and the West Side Highway).
